Request for testing pivot lean and toe-in on a new axle, and for damper load recommendations.

Identifier  ExFiles\Box 11\2\  02-page215
Date  25th April 1929 guessed

contd :- -3- 43

We should like you to go over the pivot lean
from say 1° to 4°, trying every intermediate degree to
establish the best setting. We ought also to try varying
the toe-in on this new axle to see if we can improve joggles.

SUSPENSION.

We should like your recommendations of the
loads on the dampers that give the best compromise :

(1) For town and low speed touring up to 55 m.p.h.

(2) For high speed touring.
