WRAITH GEAR BOX

The second speed driver gear GW.773 incorporates an oil scoop GW.1356, which is not present on the Bentley or 25/30-HP., although these units are generally identical design.

This scoop presents certain assembly difficulties and in view of the fact that 2000 Bentley and 25/30-HP chassis are running satisfactorily under similar conditions, without this fitting, therefore, we suggest that it should be deleted.

We would point out that 29G., has been running without complaint for a long period without this scoop.
