| DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5380 Hsl/LG23.6.28. SUBFRAME FOR INDIA(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) 3. X5380 45830 We have despatched the subframe for India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) 3. to Lillie Hall. today. From the report of the Sales Conference it would appear that this subframe is going to lie at Lillie Hall as no decision has yet been come to as to which body it is going to be used for. We consider this is very foolish, and that we ought to know whether other arrangements were made so that the subframe is not so vitally urgent. To produce the subframe in the time allowed has meant that all other sheetmetal work has been stopped, excessive overtime has been worked and several other urgent jobs have stopped altogether.
