We have today received the Telegauge, servo linings, starter meter bush, 45° servo levers and the starter pinion.

The bush is approximately .005" too large in the bore for the shaft but we are fitting it as the spare starter has given out. The pinion would not look at the serrations and considerable filing at the bottom had to be done to make it fit. The Telegauge appears to be in good condition and has been erected.

We are now continuing our morning run and expt. Work in the afternoon. The time is however taken up considerably by the inaccessibility of the various parts, to get at the front shock dampers means the radiator coming down every time, then the dampers foul the engine feet and have to be wangled in and out, the O {Mr Oldham} /S rear damper cannot be taken out without undoing the battery box so a lot of time is wasted with unnecessary things, can you tell us why we are getting a leak of oil from the peg in the crankshaft extension for the location of the starter dog, it looks as if the extension is drilled through and the peg plugged in.
