Dear Mr. Hives,

Very many thanks for your letter of yesterday's date giving further information regarding your Rolls-Royce trials of pneumatic tyres.

I am despatching you tomorrow certain 4 - 33 x 5 slightly oversize tyres to fit the 32 x 4 1/2 rim and I would like you to subject these to the same trials that you are now conducting and let me have your further report. On this occasion I am sending you tyres with single treads and would like you to run them both front and rear at 5 lbs less pressure than the Dunlop.

I have not received your report this week yet on the 32 x 4 1/2 Rapson tyres which you are running on your 20 H.P. model and sincerely hope that these are getting on alright.

Yours truly,
RAPSON TYRE AND JACK COMPANY LIMITED.,
F. {Mr Friese} Lionel Rapson.
Managing Director.
