RE PHOTOGRAPHS.

With reference to the photographs of 1718 showing "bumpy" roads, the ground clearance as regards frame trusses should be better on this point on the cars we are now producing than on 1718, as the length of the trusses is less by 5/8".

With reference to your sheet TBB3/L23812 I should like to know how the gradient was measured, and to what extent one can depend as to their accuracy.

The matter is very important as it may lead us to make in-accurate statements.

The point I should like confirming is the test of the hill onwhich with a load of 5000 lbs the car could not start on a 25% gradient.

This is enough to show that our car is not yet low enough geared which I take it will be overcome on the new 4 speed gear box.

At the same time it has struck me as

Contd.
