| X 4037 To Roy. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn. {Mr Robinson} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/LG14.1.28. BENTON & STONE FILTER. X3700 We have examined this filter. We like the look of it very much. Our only objection to it is that the gap between the plates is rather large (.006") and rather irregular. The gap we are working to at present is .05 mm. and we find this very satisfactory. Would you please ask Messrs. Benton & Stone to let us have a filter element incorporating this gap; additionally the Zenith filter has about 30% more area than the Benton & Stone, and they increased the area at our request by lengthening the filter element. Could Messrs. Benton & Stone do anything for us in this respect? Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn. {Mr Robinson} | ||
