| 4a EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Feb. 3rd. 1921. P.A.64 X.430 - MAGNETO. - HIGH SPEED SUB-TESTS. (1) Find maximum regular sparking gap for all high speeds (speeds above 1300 R.P.M.) for Advance Central Retard. (2) Adjust gap so that regular sparking takes place at all high speeds and positions of lever. Now short each gap in turn with lever in each position and varying speed. (3) Repeat (2) but instead of shorting the gaps, watch sparks for any difference that may be seen in the sparks themselves. C.A.P. | ||
