| To BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /SB. {Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} . from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} c. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ----------------------- Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 35/N.24.3.39. ----------------------- With reference to your memo BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /SB. {Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} 12/MG. 17.3.39, there are still cars giving trouble with rattles in the rear silencer and these will continue, for some time. The trouble has been cleared up by BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} who assured me the last time I interviewed him. A larger hole is drilled which makes the welders do the job correctly. I left these complaints off my chart for this reason. GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
