Spectre(Codename for Phantom III) Crankshaft out of No.5 Unit. The fact that the big end bearings on either side of the centre main bearing had showed signs of overheating indicates the possibility that the oilers on the centre main bearing might have been leaking. We do get high oil pressures on the Spectre(Codename for Phantom III) up to 80 lbs. per sq.in. Will you therefore please test the crankshaft up to 80 lbs.per sq.in. before replacing it in the engine.
