WRAITH III

Gearbox Rear Suspension and Stay.

We send herewith N.Sch.5187 showing the permanent design for the above.

As on the 25/30 and Bentley the weight carrying rubber block is partly shrouded in sheet metal and the rebound rubber is without reinforcement. This appears to be a cheaper arrangement than using the same shrouded block top and bottom for the sake of reducing the number of different pieces.

At the request of RHC {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} /TVT {T. V. Turner} the stay is provided with a screw adjustment for length. It is thought that the extra cost of the stay is more than regained in the saving of fitting time and that liability of unsatisfactory work is eliminated.
