Floatex Body Mounting on Wraith.

We have two alternative schemes of this mounting, the one tested on 25-G-6 was fitted up to F.W. 380 + F.W. 250.

The car was run over the Osmaston Park Road which is the worst road section in the district, and is where the Phantom III was tested.

The same method of measuring was also used and the results were as follows:-

Dampers set soft .090" total movement.
Dampers set hard .070" total movement.

The car was fitted with rubber pads under the springs, and also rubber in the front end of the rear spring shackles.
