| THE G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} U. C. (Gladwell Patent) Updraught Carburettor GETS FAR NEARER TO THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE EFFICIENCY IN POWER AND FUEL CONSUMPTION THAN ANY PETROL CARBURETTOR HITHERTO MARKETED. IT does this because it supplies exactly the correct strength of mixture for all engine speeds and conditions, from idling to full throttle, and from stone-cold to fully warmed up, and, because the mixture is thoroughly emulsified and evenly mixed, stratification does not occur. AND it does all this automatically, the only control being the ordinary throttle. REMARKABLE results are obtained from these advantages, including a very definite saving in petrol, with, at the same time, increased power, amazing top-gear performance, and a very marked improvement in smooth running. WHAT USERS ARE SAYING. “ I am saving much more petrol than the 20 per cent. guaranteed and the all-round performance is amazing.” “ Five miles per hour faster ! Hill-climbing and top gear performance vastly improved, and eight miles per gallon more.” “ It is incredible that with such a saving in petrol the car has improved so remarkably.” “ The carburettor has made the car run so sweetly that I would not change it even if I were not getting the saving guaranteed.” Fig. 1 Showing section through normal type fixed dimension Choke Tube Fig. 2 GLADWELL UPDRAUGHT CARBURETTOR Enlarged view of Sprayer Nozzle The large drawing (Fig. 2) shows a section through the automatic infinitely variable dimension Choke Tube of the G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} U.
