It is now a considerable time since you had Stromberg Carburetors for test on your new engine. When the writer visited your Works, we understood that even if the Stromberg Carburetor did not prove suitable, there was a possibility of your utilising some of the Stromberg patents in the development of your own carburetor. We find that this is now an accomplished fact and have been informed that certain Stromberg patents are embodied in your carburetor, and we shall naturally be glad to have particulars from you on the matter. Meanwhile, should there be any further information or help that you require in regard to Stromberg Carburetors, either for future requirements in aero engines or even on the car side, we shall be very pleased indeed to furnish you with any information that we have available. Some weeks ago now we had a copy of a report from America which we understood had been forwarded to you, also some sample carburetors in connection with the Phantom Rolls. We believe that the tests that were carried out in America were very satisfactory, and we shall naturally be interested to know whether there is any further help that we can give you on this side. Assuring you of our best attention and co-operation, We are, Yours faithfully, STROMBERG MOTOR DEVICES LTD., Managing Director. A H Black | ||
