WRAITH BRAKES.

The Maroon Car 24.G.Vl. {V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}

When the brake drums on this car are changed will you please reline the brakes.

The 4 wrapping, or front, or upper, shoes in each drum are to have Ferodo M.L.

The 4 unwrapping, rear, or lower shoes in each drum with Ferodo R.L. which we will supply.

This combination is an attempt to reduce squeaks. It is quite common American practice to use different linings in the same drum. By fixing the linings to the shoes as specified the highly loaded toggle will be relieved of some load.
