14th. December 1937.

Messrs. Gallay Ltd.,
Vulcan Works,
Edgware Road,
Cricklewood,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. S.Pope.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of 9th. inst., for which we thank you, we have noted the quotation contained therein.

We fear, however, that we cannot proceed any further with this matter since your figure for our matrix to EB.3513 and EB.3515 is approximately £1.5.0d. higher than the figure which we at present pay, and is a similar amount higher than an alternative quotation which we have received for a matrix of similar construction to your own (fin and tube).

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
