The lighting switch has been found difficult to operate and as we anticipate similar trouble with the ignition switch, we propose to try a modified form of contact plate, using contacts which are not so deep. Will you therefore, please put in hand the following parts :- DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 2282 - Contact Rivet - Ign. & Lighting Switch. 5 off. DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 2283 - Contact Plate - Lighting Switch. 1 off. DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 2284 - Contact Plate - Ignition Switch. 1 off. The above pieces should be used in place of :- DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 1985 - Contact Plate - Ignition Switch. DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 1995 - Contact Plate - Lighting Switch. and are to be incorporated in all the switches now being built.
