WRAITH 111 - FRONT HIGH ENGINE MOUNTING.

As requested by Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Wym. {G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} we attach two prints
of a rough sketch of the front engine support member suitable
for the offset nose bearing, for replacing the previous engine
support, using a tubular frame crossmember. We understand
that 26-G-1V. is to have this mounting fitted.

All particulars for the lower portion of the
member are shown in full on E.CD.61 drawing, although it will
be necessary to adapt the bracket fixings to side frames to the
existing bolts used for the tubular crossmember. The adaption
of the offset nose bearing to the existing facing on cylinder
block was shown on a previous rough sketch issued to you.

The reason the amount of offset is called for as
1.875" is, because we are proposing this figure as a common
offset for both Wraith 111 and Bentley 111 cars, Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} has agreed
to this figure.

The final designs for both Wraith 111and Bentley
111 are being made to suit this amount of offset.
