117-MC - SUMMERS CAR. X8410

With reference to the special rear springs which were ordered for 117-MC car. We attach details of the buffer clearances obtained with these springs, submitted by the R.D.

It will be observed from the buffer clearances that these springs are rather more than 15% stronger than we require as the specified buffer clearance was 3.5" with 4 passengers.
