To Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re WMB-11 Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 9/E17739

Referring to Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 6/MH. {M. Huckerby} 11.7.39 confirming conversation this morning, I tried the Discol experiment and the noise disappeared entirely. This evidently means that it was detonation.

As arranged on the telephone I am sending Kennett with the car to Derby to-day and should be glad if you would see that I am notified not later than Thursday as to when I can have it back.
