Wraith II Gearbox.

With reference to the selector plunger housing GW.608 which in accordance with our N.Sch.4840 has been instructed as a forging in aluminium alloy with as high a Brinell as possible, in view of the importance of cost reduction we now think that this should be an aluminium alloy die casting as it appears that cost will be saved by casting instead of forging.

The metal suggested is RR.50 which will give a Brinell between 59 and 80.
