In view of the experience gained since we instructed for the B.80 engines the assembly specification of the above unit should be as follows - (1) Vandervell main bearings. (2) Sodium filled exhaust valves. (3) Inlet valve springs and guides (Ph.III parts) as instructed in our memos. for B.60 (Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 7/JH.8.12.38 and Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 1/MH. {M. Huckerby} 9.12.38.) (4) Cylinder head modified in transfer throat to PD.292.
