DYNAMOS.
18 Dynamos returned back from Test to Works in six weeks. Works to investigate what has been done; whether they have been returned to makers.

It has been decided to run every Dynamo which comes in against batteries. If they do not satisfy the Test Dept. for noise they are to be sent back to Lucas, no more notice taken of them. If they complain we will invite them to come here. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} will give Lucas notice of this.

WATFORD MAGNETOS.
EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} complained of noisy Magnetos, but BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} informed us that the Watford people were now at the Works and were doing all possible to satisfy us, so we decided to ask Mr. Platford to report on the Magneto question again in a week's time.

WARLAND RIMS.
EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} complained that he had had to return wheels to the makers because of unsatisfactory Warland rims. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} to take up the matter vigorously with the Warland people. (All faulty ones are being returned to the makers.) Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} stated that two different persons had come, at separate times, from the Warland firm, and he put it to them very straight, if they had any hopes of increasing their business with R.R. they would have to improve their work very considerably.

Warland people are not easy to convince that their goods are not so good as we require. Committee recommends that Sales Dept. have nothing to do with Warland people, especially as we have got another alternative.
