the view that this body should in future be fitted with a division between the front and back seats, and therefore this should be provided for. In this car there is of course more room to have the window to drop into the back panel than on the design criticised in the foregoing, but of course if the Park Ward scheme is sufficiently good to be preferred, then we are open-minded on this.

We are anxious to see some improvement in the design of this body, which is not a very attractive one, and Barkers themselves are at present trying to get out a new design with a more attractive line. We are inclined to think that whilst the body must be of the full-sized dimensions ordinarily, or nearly so, it is the tail end that wants improving, possibly by introducing some form of small boot projection such as we used to have on the Barker design before the present one.

However, we are looking about two years ahead with this design so that we have to try and interpret what will be the vogue in those days, and that we agree is not very easy. The fact remains that we do want a full-sized Saloon as another type for this chassis, and we should be glad to see what design you would suggest should be put in hand for an experimental car.
