Re Suction Chamber Washers. X.705

Mr Hives. 10-9-13.

Please note that special washers for the above are on order. We understand that the standard washers under the suction chamber of the air valve become swelled owing to absorption and moisture, making the joint difficult to take down.

Will you please test the above re this characteristic and also arrange to test a carburetter without any washer at all. The materials selected are lead, copper, asbestos and a special fibre.
