| Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200a! Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/R.26.2.38. 3.B.IV. LOG BOOK. The voltage regulator on this car is not working. The tyres have a nasty whine round about 40 m.p.h. The brakes pull to the left. The carburetter needs investigating. It takes a considerable time before the mixture control can be put over to the weak position without signs of weakness are experienced. The suspension at the rear of the car with the control lever in the soft position is very unsatisfactory, the car bounces all over the road. The windscreen wiper has a very bad knock at one end of its travel. The gear lever is extremely difficult to move across the gate. The gearbox, of course, is most noisy. The engine boom on this car is much worse than one would expect on a standard Bentley, is the mounting quite free ? Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
