Messrs. Bendix Ltd.,

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 27th inst. and note that you are communicating with the American factory re the possibility of obtaining an instrument reading 0-100 lbs.

It occurs to us that you might be interested in the somewhat rough and ready ball mounted foot plate we are fitting to the Press-o-meter we have, and we enclose print Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 544. We appreciate that a much neater job could be made if incorporated in the design of the instrument.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
