Sidgreaves - MD} 18/E28.6.29 Copy to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I have just seen your BY6/G26.6.29 which was written prior to yesterday's conference at which it was made clear that we should not agree to a batch of chassis being ordered with long frames until this type has been thoroughly tested, passed and approved and standardised in the usual way. This is not a new point because I pointed out as long ago as the 16th May that arising out of a memo. from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} the position appeared to be that, although we had made two identical chassis, whilst one was free from the trouble originally complained of, the other was not.
