The set of self-adjusting tappets which you are fitting to No. 3 unit and which are to the specification Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 1/KW.6.9.34, requires the following modification to bring up to date with the tests carried out on the test bed unit - Plungers modified from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1497 to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1651, which gives an increased diametrical clearance from .0005" to .0015". The rocker shafts are to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1567. Will you also produce a set for No. 2 unit to the above instructions. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /L.H.Swindall. | ||
