and including the new and improved shock dampers now in process of design.

WHEELS
It is suggested by Works that serious consideration should be given to the use of Rudge-Whitworth wheels on this new chassis in view of the considerable saving that might be effected thereby.

RADIATOR
It is suggested that a radiator having a loose shell should be used as Works are of the opinion that production would consider-ably be simplified thereby, and chromium finish rendered practic-able.

STEERING.
If possible similar to P. 2., avoiding push in bonnet. Also including such of the suggested manufacturing economies as are considered wise.

BATTERY BOX.
Simple metal box with sheet metal cantilever mounting.

PETROL TANK.
It is suggested that the present design of tank could be more economically produced by pressing and folding, or alternative-ly modified so as to be suitable for pressing in two halves.

MATERIALS.
It is thought that the materials used in the chassis through-out should be reconsidered because it is believed that consider-able economies can be effected in certain cases without loss of quality.

L. H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 28HP. CHASSIS.
In dealing with this new chassis it is proposed that the R. {Sir Henry Royce} and L.H. models should be considered simultaneously with a view to rendering them as far as possible interchangeable as regards their components.
For example the same battery and box could be used on both chassis.
It is also suggested that the engine need not be handed but that the steering box could be changed over as is standard practice on all American productions.
Owing to the different positions of the change mechanism there will evidently be some differences in the gearboxes but it is hoped by sufficiently early consideration to secure as much interchangeability of the parts as possible.

It is hoped by the aforegoing to delay the handing of the
