Messrs. Park Ward & Co.,

Willesden,
London, N.W.10.

Dear Sirs,

Re Enclosed Limousine - 24.G.6.

We have fitted the above body to the chassis and are pleased to say that it was an excellent fit, and that the Expl. Dept. have not much to say in the way of complaints. They wish us, however, to point out to you the following small points:-

1) The centre of the scuttle was approximately 3/16ths. ins. low. We understand that you have made an allowance for this on subsequent bodies. The trouble no doubt occurs due to the scuttle being pulled when panelling.

2) The wind screen wiper drive to the motor was on the wrong side of the car. The motor is on the right-hand side of the dashboard, looking forwards.

3) Increased clearance was required round the cover inside the body for the petrol filler, and a new and larger cover had to be made.

4) The side spare wheel carrier bolt did not come central with the well for the wheel in the wing. We understand that the well was out of place.

5) The driver's cushion had to be set in 2" in order to clear the gear lever.

We believe that you have complete information concerning all the parts of the chassis which are referred to in these complaints, and no doubt you will arrange to avoid these difficulties on 25.G.6, 26.G.6 and subsequent bodies.

Yours faithfully,

For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
