Cox - Advertising Manager} 15/KW21.9.34. The chances are that Sanderson & Holmes will not be able to persuade their customer to buy this car, as we seem to want more for it than he is inclined to pay for a car for the purpose intended. Therefore, in all probability we shall have the body done up and then sell the car for the original market value. I understand from C. that the chassis is already in the Repair Dept. having certain non-standard parts removed and being put into saleable condition. As regards the renovation of the body, we would rather do this ourselves in London, so will you please avoid having anything done to the bodywork at Derby and let us have the car as soon as the repairs to the chassis are finished. We shall be glad to know in due course when we may expect to receive this car. Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} duch | ||
