Re: J B 85.

After this a High Rate Discharge through an invariable external resistance 100W was taken.
The initial amperes were 103.
Time to 100 amperes = 4.5 min
" " 90 " = 14.7 "
" " 80 " = 16.6 "
Cell P.D's. were taken at 100 & 90 amperes approx.

Condition of Battery.

| Condition of Battery | Exide | P&R | Exide | Fuller | P&R | Oldham |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Open circuit but discharged | 1.98 | 1.94 | 1.98 | 2.02 | 1.9 | 1.9 |
| Charging at 9 amperes | 2.6 | 2.9 | 2.6 | 2.8 | 2.9 | 2.7 |
| High Rate discharge 100 amperes | 1.8 | 1.6 | 1.8 | 1.8 | 1.6 | 1.6 |
| 90 amperes | 1.7 | 1.35 | 1.7 | 1.75 | 1.30 | 1.25 |

It will be seen that the P&R & Oldham have the highest resistance.

This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
