| W/S {Derby Works / Sales} - Hn. {F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} 604 S Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 14/JH.20.1.38. Arrangements have been made for our lorry to collect both the Grey and Green bodies from Park Ward today the 20th and 27th respectively. Messrs. Park Ward have been notified. The following points have been noted, and the parts ordered for Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 's. car. (a) Kneeling lady mascot. (b) Disc wheels, will be painted to match. (c) Under bonnet lights. (d) Bumpers have arrived, but would you please order 2 sets of over-riders to be delivered here. We will arrange to send you the registration numbers of the other cars as they are completed. With regard to the narrow running boards fitted to 3.B.IV. The front wings on this car appear to be standard width the front are 68.3/4" and the rear 64.75". We have noticed that this body gets slightly more dirty about the door centres than the standard body but we are 2" wider at this point than standard. The rear wings would be a better shield for the tail if they were a little wider. They do not stand out over the tyres as much as on standard guards. During the life of the car here, we have not had any criticism of the body in bad weather. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
