London, N.W.10.

Dear Sirs,

Re Enclosed Limousine for Chassis 26.G.G.

We confirm that we telegraphed you this morning to put in hand a replica of the Enclosed Limousine, which you built for chassis 24.G.G. to be used for chassis 26.G.G in place of the Four Door Saloon which will not be ready in time for the chassis on May 1st.

It will be necessary to put the body into the mill immediately and for the work to go ahead without any delay as we must have delivery of the body on May 1st.

In a day or two we shall send you a complete specification of the body, but in the meantime it can be taken that the specification will remain unaltered except in the following major features:-

1) Aero glass in the doors to be replaced by 3/16ths. Triplex "Toughened".

2) The bonnet overhang to be 8¼" and to have a rear slope of 11".

3) The body to be built to suit the revised front floor boards sent to you to-day in connection with the Four Door Saloon.

We are asking our Sales Dept. to issue the necessary order.

Yours faithfully,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.,

Design Dept.
