| KINGS of the MOTOR WORLD say,—'THIS 4-WHEEL JACK AS ESSENTIAL AS 4-WHEEL BRAKES'. Labour-free motoring at last JACKALL FOUR-WHEEL JACKING SYSTEM The Jacking System of the Future Smith's Accessories are fitted to most British Cars and we have the reputation for making and selling products which render motorists real service. In pursuing this policy we have associated ourselves with “Jackall” Four-Wheel Jacks, and are confident that in offering these Jacks to the Motoring Public we are rendering a further service. “JACKALL” Is sold in two sizes, according to the weight of the car :— PRICE Cars up to 30 cwt. .. .. £12 12 0 Cars over 30 cwt. .. .. £13 13 0 For name of local Agent see back page. If you have any difficulty in obtaining the “JACKALL” in your district, an inquiry addressed to ourselves will receive immediate attention. WHAT THE PRESS SAYS ABOUT “JACKALL” “THE MOTOR.” We have seen and tested the apparatus (which is fully patented) as applied to a Morris Saloon, and can testify to the ease and rapidity with which a wheel can be lifted clear of the road. The advantages of this system are so obvious as scarcely to require any further comment, and we believe that it will be well received by the motoring public; it is, incidentally, all-British in design and manufacture, and it is hoped that it will be adopted as a standard fitment on several cars at the next Olympia Show. “THE GARAGE & MOTOR AGENT.” The “Jackall” Four-Wheel Jacking system enables a car to be raised bodily off the ground in a few moments for such jobs as tyre changing, brake adjusting, and greasing. The four hydraulically operated legs are permanently attached to the frame, and the control, together with the oil reservoir from which the pump draws, can be fitted to either running board. Raising the car is accomplished without disturbing the passengers. “THE AUTOCAR.” On examination I found that a telescopic jack with spring return was permanently fitted inside each of his four wheels, and operated by a hydraulic device bolted to the running board, coupled by armoured hose to each separate jack. The apparatus is extraordinarily light and convenient. “MOTOR TRANSPORT.” It enables any wheel to be jacked up in less than a minute by the movement of a hand lever, or, alternatively, all four wheels can be jacked up at the same time. The time and labour-saving advantages which it affords can hardly fail to be appreciated by motor transport owners and drivers, especially in the case of vehicles fitted with pneumatic tyres. [Image of the Jackall control unit] This photograph shows the control dial of the “Jackall.” It will be noticed how simple and compact the arrangement is. When not in use the lever is removed and the lid {A. J. Lidsey} closed, making it an almost unnoticeable addition to the car. FOUR-WHEEL JACKS LTD. Sole Concessionaires : S. SMITH & SONS (M.A.) LTD.
