| Contd:-3- We could manufacture at reduced labour costs by making them rapidly and continuously. We could also embody in the last 200 of these chassis many of the new parts that will cheapen costs without reducing quality, which have now been agreed upon between us and Derby. By such a policy we could clear the Works:- (a) in order to make the anticipated big aero programme, (b) to make way for the improved 20/25 for mass-production. If it were arranged to keep up eight per week irrespective of holidays, which would use up all the material which we have on hand or on order for the 315 chassis by early October, we could take the risk to keep up output to the end of the year by ordering either 55 sets of material for the present type of chassis or 55 sets for the new type of chassis, which would give an output of approximately five per week. for. | ||
