Modifications and repairs required for a B.60 Unit No.2 prior to chassis fitting.

Swindell} 4/MH. {M. Huckerby} 25.11.38. B.60 UNIT NO.2. We are returning the above unit for the following, prior to it being fitted in a chassis. (1) Remove existing EB.4332 camshaft and fit original shaft EB.4022. (2) Fit a new set of sodium cooled exhaust valves in accordance with our memo, Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 19/MH. {M. Huckerby} 24.11.38. (3) Fit EB.4401/2/3 modified inlet valve springs and top and bottom washers. (4) Fit new lower half joint. (5) Spring drive damper has been fidgeting on the crank nose; tapers require cleaning up. (6) No.1 connecting rod has been slightly damaged by the torsional indicator shaft. If necessary on inspection, a new rod to be fitted. (7) Damper spring setting to be given later.
