| To D.A. from E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to C.J. BN {W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} (crossed out) HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (crossed out) X.3832 CK {Mr Clark} (crossed out) X.3843 ORIGINAL RE "BUZZARD(Aero Engine)" AND "VULTURE(Experimental 6 CYL OHV LONG STROKE / Aero Engine)" REAR AXLE GEAR RATIOS. Information has already been sent that the back axle ratio of the "Vulture(Experimental 6 CYL OHV LONG STROKE / Aero Engine)" should be 4.75 to 1. Would you kindly note that this ratio for the "Buzzard(Aero Engine)" should be 4.5 to 1 on account of the larger displacement of the "Buzzard(Aero Engine)" engine as compared with the "Vulture(Experimental 6 CYL OHV LONG STROKE / Aero Engine)".
