London. NW. {N. Walker - Patents} 10.

For the attention of Mr. Ward.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to finishing off the painting on the Green Saloon Bentley body, we regret that owing to an unforeseen change of design, your painter had a more or less wasted journey on Tuesday last.

On Saturday morning next the car will be complete and ready for finishing off. We should be obliged, therefore, if you could send a painter up here on Friday evening so that he can start work first thing on Saturday morning. The car is to be ready for a demonstration on Monday morning, so it will be necessary for him to work through the week end. In addition we are making some slight alterations to the front appearance of the blue Bentley body (No. 3723) which necessitates some slight paintwork, he should bring with him some blue paint to cover this job.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
