E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 3/WN. 17.3.37.

No.3. The back light should have square corners at the top, and rounded at the bottom, the sides leaning-in in sympathy with the lean-in of the body sides.

No.4. No dummy ventilator to be shown on the side of the scuttle.

No.5. The road tools, as stated in the specification, will be housed under the bonnet and we hope that all the other tools will be housed between the dummy and the fixed heel-board of the rear seat, with the exception of small and useful tools which will be housed in the side of the scuttle.

No.6. We agree to the introduction of 11° bonnet slope in place of the 12° slope as previously instructed, the bonnet overhang remaining 8.5".

No.7. We are sending herewith prints of the revised front chassis floor boards which are slightly higher than those previously used and we would be glad if you would modify your jig accordingly, and build this body to suit this latest design of floorboards.

We wish the following modification to be made to our specification for the above body:-

1) We have asked for the ashtrays for the occupants of the back seats, we believe, to be in the armrests. We would be glad if you could arrange for these to be in the companions, where it is suggested by our Sales Dept. they are usually located.

Yours faithfully,
For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.,
