Sidgreaves - MD} WOR. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 1/M7.6.32. 25HP. TORSIONALLY FLEXIBLE JOINT IN TRANSMISSION. Herewith we send N. sch. 3483, shewing the torsion-ally flexible joint inside the clutch, which is intended for trial as an alternative to N. sch. 3482. Of the two suggestions shewn, namely, using the existing driving piece and bolting a spider to it, or making a new solid spider, we prefer the latter, as the arms of the spider are better backed up.
