| contd :- -2- is something wrong and the faulty drip plugs which are changed should be kept intact so that we can take it up with the makers. We should like to know more of where the silenser pipe is shewing distortion. When we looked at this pipe at Le Canadel(Henry Royce's French residence) we saw that it had been moving about half an inch. We should like to know whether this has increased. If the spring drive period and crankshaft period has developed sufficiently bad for you to know something has happened to the slipper wheel or spring drive, we recommend that you hold up the car for a day to put this right. We should like to know whether you have any explanation for the liquid getting out of the petrol gauge. We are more anxious for you to carry out investigations to overcome faults, than to cover mileage. HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
