We give below the parts which we expect will be fitted to the chassis before it is placed on test. We also shew a list of parts which it will be convenient to fit whilst the chassis is undergoing its test. We just remind you again that this chassis must be placed on test by Friday Feb. 22nd. PARTS WHICH WILL BE FITTED TO CHASSIS BEFORE TEST 1. New crankshaft - improved oil retaining. 2. New main bearings without liners. 3. New cover to suit crankshaft. 4. Exhaust system LeC 2638. 5. Water pump gland nut to LeC 2644. 6. Throttle control lever LeC 2653. 7. New rocker cover LeC 2651. 8. Valve springs E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 78071. 9. Throttle governor controls. 10. Modified governor housing. 11. Modified oiler for idler wheel. 12. Rubber engine mounting LeC 2649/50. 13. Solid engine coupling. 14. Cross steering tube using 1¼" dia. ball ends. 15. Improved front spring anchorage suitable for larger snouts to accomodate spring gaiters. 16. Propeller shaft using 6" Mechanics joints N.S.2547 - improved joints. 17.
