| 3 44 a noise. This appears to be due to the ball bearing on the commutator end of the armature shaft having become roughened up due to end pressure having been put on it by the two long bolts which were fitted when the RR endplate was put on. I will try to obtain a new bearing either here or from Paris. As regards men Bullemore is dying to come home so will you please send two more good drivers as soon as possible and I will then send Bullemore back. I cannot spare Maddocks and he is agreeable to stay on here longer but would like to come home for a refit. Are you still intending sending 59H out here and if so when will it be ready? I would like to come and fetch it if possible as there are many things I must see to in Derby at an early date. Is it intended to keep 6GH out here when 55H is ready. If 6G is to come back to Derby we might all come home on it and return with 59. Please let me know what the programme is as soon as you can. When I handed over 79. | ||
