Chateauroux(French test region).

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 2/MH. {M. Huckerby} 2.11.38.

We have received the rear universal joint. The damage is so extensive that it is difficult to say what happened first. We agree with you, however, that 20° is required and we are arranging with Hardy Spicer to provide this.

In future will you please when sending back to Derby parts that have failed at Chateauroux(French test region), enclose a short note to Pope giving particulars of these parts to avoid delay in the Customs.
