Bailey - Chief Engineer} WOR. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} S E C R E T. OVERRUN VIBRATION ON E.A.C. We find that the Hawk(Aero Engine) connecting rods are 11.5" long and the bearing is the same diameter as the E.A.C. We are therefore arranging to fit a set of hawk(Aero Engine) rods on to the EAC. engine without delay. With the 11½" rod we shall have approximately the same connecting rod crank ratio as the 40/50 H.P. and the Hispano (4.28). Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
