EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /TAS. {T. Allan Swinden} 11/JH.

4th. January. 1939.

Messrs. S. Smith & Sons Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
LONDON.N.W.2.

For the attention of F.J. Grosé Esq.
Your ref. S.10.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the Automatic Jet control to your Code X.29963 supplied some time ago to Mr. Salt and handed over by him for test on the road, we should be interested to learn what would be the approximate cost of such an instrument if supplied in quantity. It is assumed that in this case rubber bellows would replace the rolling rubber gland ring at present employed.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
