To Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Bentley Engine Bearings. Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 34/E29.9.36

Referring to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/KW.19.9.36, I have sent a copy of your memo. to Sr. and told him what you want done to the next trials car.

I note you say that hot weather is the acid test for the particular combination asked for but I am afraid this has disappeared for the next 6 months!

I am not sure whether you have written to Sr. as per JS {Mr Johnson's Secretary} 8/E21.9.36 but, if so, I should like to have a copy.

Referring to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3/KW.26.9.36 on the same subject, I note what you say about shims etc.

If you want us to arrange to send Trials Car B-3-GA to K. {Mr Kilner} later on for the shims to be fitted, will you please let me know.

Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
