Dear Mr. West,

Thank you for yours of the 13th. inst., which owing to my having been away from the Works unwell, I have not received until to-day.

I shall be very glad indeed to assist you in every possible way, but have a very important appointment in London on Wednesday so I cannot visit Derby on that day. If Thursday would be of any use I could call at your Works shortly after 2 oclock, but I should like to know definitely before I leave for London tomorrow afternoon.

I tried to get you on the 'phone to-day, but you were not at the Works. Will you please either wire me tomorrow morning or telephone about II oclock?

Yours faithfully,

British Insulated Cables Limited.
